Purity awoke in her cat bed under the nurse's desk. She turned to the bed beside her and saw that Ace was already awake. She didn't even bother to look at Talon's bed, on her other side.
She pushed herself to her paws and shook out her tortoiseshell fur, before stretching. Purity lazily padded out from under the desk and sprang up onto the nurse's lap, giving Talon a dirty look. WHen the nurse didn't respond to her, Purity leaped up onto the desk beside Ace shoving Talon away with her hindlegs.
"Purity, c'mon. Give Talon a chance," Ace mewed, smiling at Talon trying to take the sting out
